Andrea Figure Bust 1/10 'Kamikaze'

Post by rodrant »

SO Here it is My Kamikaze 1/10 Figure Bust in its Final Reveal .

My Building Thread is here :

http://intscalemodeller.com/viewtopic.php?f=330&t=10159

Nice and interesting 'new' (at least to me ...) variation on the Hobby ! A very nice figure , but not really can make an opinion as it was my first , and should be others in the market , on this the figure fits nicely in the metal and resin parts supplied , no gaps that I can complaint , i didn't use any putty on this ...you use ca glue and all fits nicely and ready for the paint ! And it is the paint job that really is the attraction in figure building ...in a figure this scale we realize all the flesh tones variations that we can do , all the shadows and light effects that you can think off and try to do ...I'm eagear to start a new one :th: , but for now here it is :

Ohh , Finish it using some Flat Coat (Tamiya TS 80) , used as a base , under the base the Box where the figure comes and another one of thoose Reality on in Scale fabulous Cotton Flags :th:

Outstanding work on this! You were able to convey his expression of grim determination with your paint job. That is fantastic. I would like to be able to do half as well. Congratulations on your finish with this piece. :)

Yeah , two down already !!! But this one was very fast , it was more paint job than building it , but I didn't was aware that this GB goes till April , and I'm pretty sure that the I-400 submarine will go very fast ( I guess) , so I just have to see another build for this SiG , maybe another figure ..., but now I get some attention to the other two builds still on the bench for other SiG ( Modern Armor and The build in honor of Coen ) as they finish in March , and that Merkava build is a real pita .

Thank you for watching and very glad that you liked !

Yes , it was my first bust /Figure bigger than 1/35 scale , and i'm very happy with the result , still on this tyoe of builds a lot of skill still needs to be achieved ! But what I learned doing this was great ! A lot of paint techniques , but more than that , I discover a quick way to relief building tension , as it is great to paint these figures , still aren't cheap in my opinion , but the result in your shelf is great !

thank you for watching and comment Hillbilly ! :th:
