'Spirit of Crawford County Missouri' was one of a few aircraft in the 56th FG which were part funded by particular places in the US. Here's the pic i used most as reference. This image was taken before takeoff of the plane's final mission, unfortunately it was shot down and not seen again


I used a clay wash and oils to weather and grime, then some light chipping to finish. I used Hataka and Tamiya acrylic paints. Its the Academy 1/72 model which came in a twin-pack with the FW190A8, a D-Day anniversary special.
