1/48 Tamiya N1k1 Kyofu Type11

Post by wally »

Hello Folks

This is my latest completed build. Japanese Float plane Kawanishi N1K1 from Tamiya in 1/48. As Tamiya usual this kit goes together like a dream. No problems what so ever. Painted using Tamiya acrylic paints XF-11 and XF-12 both IJN colors. I've also done some chipping effect using silver pencil and weathering was done using enamel wash from Ammo design specially for Japan Navy Aircrafts. Some rust and leaks staining done using Tamiya pastels. The aircraft markings are form "Sasebo" Kokutai.
That's it I think here it is. Hope you will like it. :)

Awesome job, mate! I was looking at this kit recently to add to my wish list...and it's reasonably priced at $22.69 here in the USA -
