Sorry, we have been very busy at the George household, soccer season is here and have been very busy traveling around to soccer games. As per Paul I attached the covers and flaps. Be care sanding the flaps as there is a small attachment nub (and I mean small). If you sand it off like I did it can make it a little hard to glue into place. Here they are all attached.
Next is putting the intakes together. I cut them out and sanded them. Very easy assembly. Just watch out as there are some pin marks that need to be sanded as you will be able to see them if you do not. See second picture.
All put together. I did not use plastic card stock on the side of my intakes. I used gap filling superglue on about the first 2 inches and sanded it smooth. Once I was finished I could not see a seam. I did use Mr Surfacer on it to check.
Next I will glue the two halves together as Paul did in his video. I already know I am going to have some gaps. Mine does not fit together very well. I will show this in my next thread.
