Finally done . Here is my P-47D Razorback flown by Lt. Charles D. Mohrle St. Dizier France October 1944. Made from Tamiya kit so it goes together very nicely. Only problem I have during the build was with Montex mask for code letters. When I try to remove them ,they rip off the paint also. So I have to mask them one over again and do some small touch ups with my airbrush. For painting I use Gunze colors Olive Drab, Neutral Gray, Off White and Flat black. Invasion strips are painted. I do this first time and even though that it take some time to proper mask them I very happy with the results. For Weathering I used enamel Dark Brown Wash from Tamiya, mud and light sand color pastels from Tamiya weathering sets and Gunze smoke color for guns staining. Small paint chipping in the area where pilot climb to the cockpit was weathered also using silver color from Tamiya pastels.
