Thank you all for the nice comments , this is really a pleasant build till now ...
Trying to see how the vehicle fit in the base , and starting to get an idea on how is going to be the Diorama ...
Meanwhile doing the figures ...well one of them had a feet broken , but I can fix it ...other has some issues ...the figures are great , great detail , just a thought that they could have Israeli armament , they have American M4 Assault rifles ...not an Big issue as they are used by IDF , and you can buy aftermarket , but could be nice to have the option to use Israeli armament ...then the pacaging was good , but the tip of the M4's is very fragile , and in one of the figures I can't see the tip in the box , so I willl use it like this , also and as usual in resin figures , n instructions , now one of the figures has some sort of Radio equipement , receiver, cable and two antenas , I try to place it using the box reference , still one antena is on the top of the funny helmet

, it is rather strange as also it has radio antena to place in the backpack ...well managed to do it ...
see the standng figure ...
all the parts ...
the missing tip on the rifle ...
the 4 squad guys ready for Primer
The 'Radio Man'
All acessories , wall and figures are ready to Prime , on this will use Tamiya Primer !
First, to see some of the figures near the Achzarit , now already with a very diluted airbrush spray of XF-57 Buff Acrylic paint from Tamiya to see it dusty

, I like the technique , and think it works very well , the paint should be very diluted to achive almost to be transparent
Nice poses
This was my yesterday work at noght ...painting the Figures :
I use as reference Photos in Intranet, think I achieved a very similar color of that used by the Golani Brigade , Painted Khaki XF-49 , and use Khaki Drab to the ammo pouches and vest , the Mitznetfet ( the name of the funny hat covering the helmet ...) here is the wikipedia definition of it :
The Mitznefet (Hebrew מִצְנֶפֶת) is a helmet covering for the infantry helmet used by the Israeli Defense Forces as of 1994. It is considerably larger than the helmet, giving the impression of a militarised chef's hat. The purpose of the floppy helmet cover is to break up the distinctive outline of a helmeted head and thus assist in the camouflage of the wearer. It was originally adapted in the 1990s for guerrilla warfare in the wood and bush land of south Lebanon, later adding a two sided camo, one for desert and one for woodland terrain. The Mitznefet is easily removable, and can be attached to the helmet while folded.[1]
The term comes from the mitznefet, or turban, worn by the high priest in the Temple of Jerusalem, originating in a Hebrew language root meaning "to wrap".
, we learn a lot doing models , right guys ...
So was saying that the Mitznefet was painting trying to do a three color Camo , they aren't all the same , but I do it similar in my figures .
Today , was a working day , but after the dinner , I mange to paint the wall pieces ...the door I use only Red Primer from Tamiya to depict the usual door Primer that we see sometimes in gates all over , and not painted

, nice effect ...
The figures got Sprayed with a Gloss Varnish ( TAmiya TS.13 Can spary) so that I then use Tamiya Dark Brown Panel Line Paint in order to enhance some of the nice details on the figures
The Small acessories that I will use also had the same treatment
With the wash
Finish painting the wall , now also some Gloss coat and some wash will be done , some dust and some dark grime or something form AK , must see what I have here
Hope you like so far , tomorrow I expect to start the work on the base ...still haven't an idea on how and what terrain will do ...I don't have a side walk , so should be something of a dirt road or something ...
Thanks for watching !
