Italeri 1/48th Wessek HAS.3

Right, so here are the photo,s of the finished Wessex HAS.3, XP142 "Humphrey".
Although there were a few fit issue:,s I really enjoyed this building this kitand as it was my first helicopter build I don,t think it look,s to bad.The base was simple enough to make, anA4 sheet of 1mm white plastic sheet was masked with strips of 45mm masking tape set out in 300x300mm square and then a compass cutter was set a the correct diametre to cut out the masking. this was then positioned on the card and Tamiya XF 49 Nato black sprayed all over, masking tape removed and then some weathering to finish. So here are the reveal photo,s

And there we have it. My thank,s to ISM for the choice of SIG, I would never really have built a helicopter but I,m very glad I did, cheer,s Dave.

Brilliant build and i like the photographs that depict so much detail :jd: , very nicely done all-round, the more i see the more i want to try one out as i haven't built anything similar in a very long time
