So right at the start of this sig i have a second entry
My main reason is that i don't like the prep work and clean up i get when i am using Alclad paints
The smell isn't really nice either so instead of build the mig first and then the Sabre i decided to build them side by side
If i work fast enough i can paint the Sabre , MiG-21 and my MiG-15's all at once so i will only have to so everything once instead of 3 or 4 times
But anyway this is the kit i will be building

It is a rebox of the Hasegawa Sabre but like with all the Eduard Limited Edition kits there are Eduard goodies like photo etch and resin in the box

A little overview of the kit content
There where 3 sets of PE in there aswell
They where for a Panther Ausf.D but i think the trader that sold me this kit had put them in this box for safe keeping during transport and forgot to take them back out
I don't mind though as i got a Panther kit for them

The clear parts
They look pretty good to me

But there are these lines on the canopy
I don't know if they are supossed to be there or that it should be completely smooth so i need to look into that
Or if you happen to know i will be happy to hear it

The 2 wing sprues

One of the fuselage halfs and some other stuff

The other fuselage half and a pilot
I don't think i will use the figure though

2 identical sprues with fuel tanks and missles

Pylons and engine parts

Too bad there are 4 big epm's in each part
So that will require some filling and sanding

The PE and masks
You can go for more PE wich is sold seperate but i will stick to what is in the box
That is nothing new with Limited Edition kits allthough the now advertise the other upgrade sets on the instruction book

The resin parts
I am not really looking forward to chopping that seat from the castingblock as i damaged seats before while doing so

The decalsheet
Not that many decals for a jet but they sure are colorfull

The instruction book

The version i will be building is this one
The other options look kind of messy to me
With artwork and things like that scattered all over the fuselage
This one looks a bit cleaner and the combination of the blue with the metal looks pretty cool

And that is all i have for now
I will get building now and hopefully i will be back with a update soon
Untill next time
Cheers,Mark
