Monogram Blue Thunder 1/32

Post by Coen »

Here she is in all her crappy glory.
Even still... I have fun building her.
I don't think that I'll biilld another one though.
Unless they make a better kit of her that is.

Thanks Shane,
I'm just glad I can put her on the shelf.
I have a 1/35 pave hawk that I'm going to build next year to add to some armour build. I just haven't decided to what yet.

Oh nice if your building a Pave Hawk you paint it up in Combat Rescue colours, that would be cool project in itself :)

Hmm... the final reveal turned blue, buddy :D

I mean... that is another piece of hand that came out of your art ... or something :D

But to be serious just for a moment (hard job... ). This is another masterpiece Coen.
Great finishing on this bird and I really love the subtle yet very good weathering you did on her.
My congratualtions :bow:: :bow::

Cheers,
Radek

It takes a real craftsman to make a silk purse from a pig's ear. You took that old kit and made yourself a top quality, jewel encrusted, velvet lined silk purse, with gold tassels - the crowd stands to applaud and cheer loudly!!

Followed this on youtube and what a great finish despite the kits problems, and i really like the diorama, im not sure how calm i would be if i saw a train coming, and getting out to push is not an option.
super finish

Fanbloodytastic Mike, you turned a turd into a masterpiece ...
Love it, love it, love it.........
Congrats on another top drawer piece mate, though i think you gonna have to get a new shelf for all these flying things you keep building!!:
Mixing them up with the Armour just wont do!
Oh and best add a Sci-fi shelf for those builds too!!!
:D
Well done again mate,
:cheers2:

This looks really good Coen. I guess I need to read your build log to see what the issues you had, because the end result looks pretty fantastic.
