Very nice builts , like the Spit in Swedish colors, is always nice to see some different markings in a plane , I have a Tamiya Spti MkI that I will do with portuguese markings , as it was operated by Portugal in Post-War period

Veny Nice work here mate! :thumb1:

Lovely work!

Your panel lines are fantastic! :th: Do you do a pinwash or just a full wash "dirty" of plane and clean off areas other than panel lines or???:

If pinwash, what size and type brush are you using?

Me 109 and Spit are pin wash, blended some different shades. Brush size not that important, pointy tip, high quality (keeps its shape) and can hold the fluid well. I use Windsor & Newton series 7 brushes for all "important work"
Vamp is "slush" wash, some different shades, Flory models clay wash.
Each method has its pros and cons...

HobbyBoss 1/48 Me 262 A-1a/U2 V056, Versuchs=Prototype, with Umrüst-Bausatz=Conversion kit for testing air to air radar equipment for night fighters

Started this one in the Night Fighter SIG, being finalized i got short of time, also the decals turned out to be total crap. They just fell apart into a million peices, kind of lost my mojo there...
Picked it up a while ago and finished it of. Markings were basically non existent on these prototypes since they were handled by Messerschmitt for testing.
E.g. handled by engeneers and technichians and did not need markings for fuel, oil, warings etc.
The Balkekreutz are aftermarket and managed to save one V056 and put it on.
Eduard PE cockpit.

I painted it with inspiration from the few pics that exist of this individual, Gunze acrylics RLM colors.

Hi Patrick, first post here mate. Just to say that I actually live in Lulea, Sweden and I've seen for real in air shows the beauties that you have built. The attention to detail is simply awesome. I just bought my first compressor so a long way to go before I can achieve close results like your models. Keep up the good work!

Hi Patrick, I'm loving your 262, I've just one myself and what a great kit it looks too. Apart from the decals, any problems?
Keep up the great work bud

Thanks a lot Tim!! :cheers2:

Reg the HB 262, no there are no major problems, just a few standard and minor things as with all kits.
The wing to fuse joints is one, and the fit of the front hatches another. But nothing bad, just needs the usual extra attention and its fine.
And Yes, I was a bit unlucky with my decal sheet, some just fell apart when wet... :(
But overall a nice, very detailed and good looking kit! Good luck with Yours. :th:
