Panzer II G with 5 cm Pak 38

Post by hansolo »

Hi guys,

Here are the final reveals of the Panzer II G with 5 cm Pak 38.
For the work in progress and some interesting history, check it out here: http://intscalemodeller.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=9865
I thought I could make almost all of the weathering happen with pigments and some pigment fixer.
But when I was done I wasn’t satisfied. So I went in and did some oil paint rendering.
But the pigments messed it up a bit by sucking up the linseed oil.
So I had to go in and do some more pigments afterwards to blend it all in again.
Which only partly worked. This’ll be a lesson for me for next time.
Patience is still a virtue. ;-)

Enjoy:
