Captain Janeways initial protagonists from the 4th Star Trek incarnation, Voyager. The Kazon are a multi sect scavenger race with which the stranded crew of Voyager have several violent encounters with until they encounter the Borg in later series.
This is the initial Monogram release but it has also been released by Revell. I bought it when it was reduced in a toy sale in Asda back in the mid 90’s and started it shortly afterwards and it has been languishing on my shelf of doom ever since.
It is a relatively straightforward build and it has been brush painted with Humbrol enamels throughout. The decals however were awful leaving a sort of creamy residue on the actual decal, which I attempted to remove with a wet paintbrush whilst holding the decal in tweezers.
