Dragon T-34/76 [Finished]

Post by Kibble »

Hey all,

Finally finished my Dragon T-34/76 this weekend.

I used a lot of techniques I have never attempted before such as streaking, textured snow, mud using plaster, oil stains, Mig Wet Effects and much more. I feel like I have opened a whole new door in my modeling skills and will now not be as afraid to try new things. With time the things I did for this model will only look better with future models.

Thanks everyone! I really dig the winter camo so my next venture will be a 1/48 KV-2.

I was pretty disappointed in the mig wet effects as it didn't really make the snow look as wet and using gloss varnish worked better. Not sure if it'll even make the mud look wet but I really don't want to touch the T-34/76 any more.

 very good work! Like how the mud breaks up the whitewash in an very eye pleasing way. Great that you changed things up with the roadwheels bringing each one alive. Stunning work. :pop:

Great model with a highly realistic weathering! I especially like the streaks and stains. Keep up the good work!
