Once again Thank you for all your nice comments and also for the unwanted critique, you got to be careful about that around here It will get you banned fast Mack. Anyway Im not too sencitive about stuff like and in fact welcome it if its creative but yours make no sence whatsoever and not trying to be harsh but if your going to give critique maby put on your nerd goggles first :ugeek: . Firstoff the track is not alligned cause they are not connected to the rest of the tracks secondly the body is burned and cut in half and left for a day or so, If you ever came in contact with a scorched dead body(or read the build thread) you wuld know that its not all blood but bodily fluids and the reason it looks a bit glossy I actually heald back on the gore bit, also the fall coloured trees are red not splashed with blood sence the wreck is positioned from the brush.

Mack wrote:Love the dio!!

But there are a couple of things that don't seem right to me...

First the section of tracks behind the wreck seem out of alignment. Was the wreck pushed off to the side of the road and that's why they're there??

Secondly, there seems to be a bit too much blood. The blood and gore doesn't bother me, it just seems a bit too much positionally. The arm is only so wide, as is the head, yet the blood is much wider. With the gore on the trees in the background, loved this by the way, it seems that the blood mentioned before is on the wrong side of the wreck.

Not trying to be harsh, just my opinion. And I really do like the dio. Fantastic work all around!!
Unless asked for Mack, unwanted criticism isn't wanted on this forum. Same with opinions unless asked for who says the poster wants to hear it.

What is freedom of speech? Scaleman could've just said that he liked the look of the model and that's it. There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism. :cheers2:

The "freedom of speech" pertains to the ability to criticise your government without persecution. Not the freedom to say what ever you like to whomever you like.
Besides, the rules of this forum are extremely clear and welcomed by everyone on it.

Absolutely no unsolicited criticism. Positive reinforcement only.
If the poster has asked for suggestions they are to be made in a construction non negative manner.
If no request has been made then either keep your thoughts to yourself or find something positive to comment on.

Very simple. It's what makes this forum so awesome. No bullying, chest thumping, power trips, intimidation.
Anyone can post anything at any level of skil for the simple purpose of sharing because they ar proud of their work and not worry about someone poking holes in all of their hard work.

Criticizing a piece that is already finished serves almost no purpose at all unless the builder is specifically looking for suggestions for a future build.

Got it. I'll just stick to my build threads. Anyone is free to criticise my work. I thought there coud be a civil discusion here. I'll just leave this hugbox.
Nice work on the diorama by the way.

I want to stop the theme "criticism" here!!!
Who wants to discuss it, should open a new topic... Here should all take pleasure about the work of Scaleman and congratulate him on a great dio. :th:

One of the main rules of ISM is that unless asked for criticism or "constructive comments" are not wanted, theres plenty of people on this forum that have left other forums due to unwanted comments to there work and appreciate the way ISM works.

If you want to have "freedom of speech" and say what you wish about others work theres plenty of other forums out there for you, its that simple. :thumb2:

Awesome work. war is x-rated after all. Sometimes we forget that when making our lovely plastic goodies.

Reminds me of a story from the book Band of Brothers, there was a place in Normandy (I think), nicknamed dead man's corner, where a Sherman had been knocked out and one of the crew was left dead, half in and half out of one of the hatches. Poor soul was left for days because no one could get to him.

I haven't read the build thread so I don't know the circs but whatever took your vehicle out must have been a serious bit of ordnance!

Maybe a Tallboy jettisoned by a Lancaster in error - Lol.

Great Work :th: :th: :th: :th: :th:

That looks very nice
personally i don't care much for the dead body as that is something i haven't done with any of my builds (yet)
But i do know that death is a big part of a war so it makes sense (just my view on things)
i am amazed by the work on the engine and destruction though
that looks truelly awesome and that is something i defently want to try some time
