What did you used for the rust and the techniques?

Thanks fella it's done with very thin washes of life colour paints, over a hull red base coat. What I did was blend the layers together whilst still wet with a brush for the main part. If you look at my build thread it goes into some detail on it. Just wish my photography was better and had finished the base for it
