Ciri and Lisbeth

Post by MarkVerploeg »

Hi guys
So i'm back with a new figure project
This time i won't build and paint 1 figure but 2 just like the title says
For this project i picked 2 75mm figures from Scale 75 a figure company from Spain
The figures are Lisbeth wich looks a bit like a witch or something of the sort
Image
This her
It is a white metal figure but i don't like the idea of painting her green so instead i will use the boxart as reference for the clothing but i will use regular skin tones instead of the green

And Ciri
Image
Who looks like this
Maybe some gamers around here will recognoze her
Someone had to point it out to me but it is a character from the game series "The Witcher
She is called Ciri wich is short for Cirilla Fiona Elen Rainnon
So i will call her Ciri from now on
This is a figure in the same scale but it is made from resin unlike the other one

So let's have a closer look at the figures ,starting with Lisbeth

The boxart

The parts
The base will see no further use as i will be making one from scratch

And this is the figure all build up

At this point the detail is a bit hard to see with the glare caused by the metal so this is how she looks in a coat of primer

Overall i think it is a nice looking figure with quite a lot of detail
Allthough a lot of it is in the clothing and armor pieces

And now for Ciri
Image
Again the box art

The parts
There was 1 airbubble that i found but it was so big it was hard to miss
It was in 1 of her pouches so luckily that was a easy fix
And again the base won't be used

And that is Ciri all build up
It will be harder to paint as her arms are in front of her body
But i checked if i could reach everything with a brush and as far as i can tell it should make it harder but still doable

As for the base
I only have a general idea about the setting i want to make
My idea is that the 2 ladies are about to start a fight but as for the base it self i have no idea what it will look like exactly
Because the Lisbeth is slightly shorter and looking down a bit i am thinking about a raised part to give the entire scene some more dynamic but i haven't planned any of the details yet
I'm still looking at some senery details like skull collums but i need to check if those will be in the proper size and scale before i start buying a ton of stuff that i can't use
I also need to order or make a wooden stand that will serve as a base for the scene
But first i should have a idea of the size

So that is the plan
As for now i am still working on 2 other figures that where left on the bench
But those shouldn't take too long
And that is all i have for now
Thanks for stopping by and having a look
Take care and untill next time
Cheers
Mark
