This is the 1/16 MG body compared to 1/8 Pocher Alfa Romeo body shell...I will get to building that one day

Bugatti Type 35 1/20 scale Revival kit

Not quite finished for me as I want to do a diorama for it, but the kit is done or maybe I am done with the kit

Got some mixed reviews on this one, made over a two day holiday Summer 2016.
Poe's X Wing fighter. Bandai micro scale kit with some metal blasters and exhausts and a silicone water base.

The diorama's concept image

Silicone water with spray

Add in Poe's X Wing 1/144 scale

with the background

That was an early build after returning to modelling. Lots of warts and would do stuff differently now thanks to Paul's videos and ISM members

Sci-Fi sig ended October 31st, 2016

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome diorama...no kits used at all here

Scratch built BalsaWood 747 covered in aluminum foil and then sandblasted for weathering

This is the inspiration scene from the movie

747 with sand blasted foil and brass engines

I really should spend more time looking through portfolios. Excellent run so far, man! The Huey and Hobbit dios... no idea you did those! I really admire your creativity, humor, and bravery with these subjects. Simply splendid stuff.

Thanks pal, you have definitely had influence on some of these builds.
I hope you get a visit to BC when I have the workshop done, if nothing else than to feel the weight of that Bugatti...bug is all metal, feels like a baby hippo

I'm sure that'll happen soon enough. We're in total chaos right now with a nearly three year old and a one year old (in two weeks!) but we're itching for a trip that doesn't include in-laws

We were just talking about coming out of newborn hibernation in 2017.

What a brilliant portfolio Scott love the Star Wars dio's in fact love everything in here, you have a serious amount of talent, I know what you mean about the weight of the Bugatti kit, I have the Revival Ferrari D50, it's so heavy the suspension has sagged about 1/2 an inch over the years.

It is good to make up the portfolio thing and then go back and look over it to see one's progress and remind yourself what you were battling with in the past. That damned Revival just about killed me, and yet it was strangely fun to work in all metal.

The Bug must weight a couple pounds as it is all metal...I meant to plop that on the kitchen scale, will have to get a proper metric measurement soon

I just nose dived into your portfolio. Your collection of models and dios are astounding for its originality, creativity and some with a few oddities showing the unusal and sublime. There was no doubt about what grabbed my eye. It had to be the swamp scene with the X-Fighter. Not only did you make the set, but even showed us what happens behind the scene. Well done!
