T-34/76 Model 1941

Post by EasyEight96 »

Hi all :hi: this will be my very first build in this forum hope you guys like it

Anyway the reason I bought this cuz I love the turret it gives you a look of a beautiful tank... and the other reason was I was pinned on watching Coen's t-34 videos

Here's the boxart an old kit..
Image

and here's yur build
Image
Image

the figures are for masterbox those are german infantry in the eastern front. I will post it with my panzer 3
boxart

That's the build so far hope you guys will bear with my slow progress cuz i'm still a young kid studying
Can anyone share some photos of this particular tank I would like to use it as reference to carry on the build. I need photos of the interior of the turret cuz I'll start building it and dragon did not give any colour info for the turret :bash: !!!

Hey there Matt.
That's an awesome kit buddy. Nice choice!!
It will go together like a dream.
It's a dragon kit so the instructions are busy. Take your time with it and you'll have a blast.
I can see about finding some reference shots for you.
As for interior colours, T34s were painted an off white (very light cream) for the interiors.

Here's a few shots from my own library and a few shots from the references that I have on my computer.

A few shots of the tank that you have there with different schemes.

Here is a generalised layout of the colours in a T34. This is a newer turret than the one on your model, but the colours would be the same.
The breach would be the same could as the outside of the vehicle where the majority of the interior is a semi-gloss white/cream colour.
It would also never be this clean haha.

Hi EasyEight, great work on the T-34. Also a belated welcome to ISM.

If you look in the reference section of the forum, Lee has added a seriesof books in .pdf format and there is a T-34 reference book. I'm sure if you ask Lee nicely, he will let you "borrow" it.

Mark Twain said it better than I can -

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you too, can become great."

And there are some truly great people on this forum.

Hi Matthew, good luck with your builds my friend, and I second all that has been said before me, every member of ISM who I have come across has offered only help, support and encouraging comments. I have never seen a cross word even in jest here.
We NEVER laugh at, only laugh with when sharing a joke or friendly teasing.
We are all here with one common interest, models and model building. All genres, all skill levels, all ages.
So worry no more, post away, show your builds and ask for advise and assistance, some one will always help.
:cheers2:
