Free...Flying Review International - Bound Volume 1967

Post by AlexBB »

Free to a good home, as above, looks to be be in good clean condition, a little yellowing to the edges.

It is a bound volume of the magazine with all 12 issues for 1967... It was given to my stepson when he was at Air Cadets, and has surfaced as we are packing his room to move. He no longer wants it, but its a shame to bin or charity shop as I would guess a bound volume is a fairly rare item..

Looks to be a great reference with loads of pictures and information relative to the date. A modelling section in each issue with cool colour schemes and info... The adverts are fun to read too... Airfoil Constant Scale and such...

OK...The downside... its FREE but you will have to pay postage as it weighs 2.1 KG.... When packed it may not fall into the small parcel range due to the weight...

BUMP......

2 days and no interest! :eeek: :eeek: :eeek:

Its FREE guys! It really is an awesome book and if was full of Dr Who, Space 1999, Star Trek, Stargate, Stargate Atlantis, UFO, Gerry Anderson, Alien, Forbidden Planet, Lost in Space etc ref pics I would be all over it..... lol... but its planes and I only like British fighters...

I really don't want to bin or charity this, and was sure someone on this Forum would love this book, but SWMBO is closing on with the "Great Tidy up" and time is limited...

There are similar books 'for sale' on eBay for between £45 & £98 !!!!

Ed
Hi Ed,
The magazine seems to cover all sorts, Military, Commercial and specialist stuff... looks like almost everything that flys..

There is a section in each mag that cover 'Modelling' and has call outs for paint and decals etc...

TBH it is a really lovely book and if it was motorbikes & cars I would not let it out of my sticky little mitts....

For any modeller who does aircraft this would be a really great reference book....

here are some pics of the modelling pages from the first couple of months..
