Detailing is excellent man!!

Man, it's too bad we won't be able to get them all together and do a group shot of them once all done... and it would even be a +1 since Bdiddy is looking at getting started on his.

Gonna look unbelievable once the clear goes on and she's polished up. :thumb1:

Thank you everyone, you guys are all too kind😊

Three coats of Splash 2k clear has been sprayed and so far things look ok
I mixed 4ml and just barely had enough
Always the way, either too little or waaaay too much. Like cooking pasta
Now trying to be patient and let it all set up hard

Dude, I am new at AB as well... this is the fourth model I've used the airbrush (although I didn't paint this one really) and just get more and more comfortable with it.

Have also learned a ton here, trust me, several of these guys on this very forum have helped me many times already. So dive in and fire away with the questions. Get on that Ducati man!! :pistols:

Can't wait til this bad boy is buttoned up and gleaming! :thumb2:

You are kinda a nut...a loveable one mind you but yes a nut

The stand is from the kit.
I am usually not a yellow fan either
Actually working on it right now with the clear wheels painted yellow and some metal details

Those wheel stripes were tough and not perfect
I could not figure out how to paint them, so went with the tape.
The rim edge flat is thin <1mm and this is 0.7mm wide tape.
I would go down to 0.5 mm next time, but the tape starts to tear when you cut that thin

Both you guys bring interesting points
 Modesty is certainly important...there is always someone better. Always.
I am not a bike expert, so I am sure there are guys out there that can wire them up and add those little details that just blow you away. I have seen some on FB.

 Perfect build
Now this comes close mainly due to the fact that things I tried out worked ok...but perfect? No.
Does that even exist? Not for me yet
It is fun to push yourself and try new stuff and thus increase skills.
One of the reasons I like forum threads is I am recording what I have done for myself to apply to future builds
I often go back and reference how I did something or what I used in a past build
I think perfection is the unicorn we all search for but never find
