I got the following from Squadron via email. I don't necessarily do armor, but many of you guys do.
How do I get it
Use Discount Code 251 (click "Promo/Gift Certificate" and enter code 251 there and push APPLY) during checkout, and a $15.99 discount will be applied, AND you will receive a FREE copy of the 168-Page Hardback book Written by David Doyle.

The lower 48 will get free shipping on orders over $100.

The kit and book will be shipping from us to you on or about August 31. This offer is valid from now through Monday, August 21, 2023.

Looks nice but before spending your precious moolah be advised Das Werk are soon to release a 1/16 Half Track which has been previewed on Andy's Hobby HQ. It looks a beaut too.

Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

Does anyone else feel Stokesy and Digger are this forum's Statler and Waldorf?

1/16 now seems to be the "go to" standard for armour - indeed MV' in general!
In which case I want to state - upfront - my demands for the following in 1/16:
* An AEC Militant Mk1 6x6
so I can remember the joy of face planting out of the cab after tripping on the 6x6 lever in a diorama. Or hurtling down the Haartz mountains in silent 6th screaming the head off and pursued by the Polizei (will also need a pair of 1/16 1970's BAOR driver)

A Bedford RLW.
so I can recreate the scene of 2 hissed as newt RCT drivers stretching the winch cable across the A44 to recover their RL sitting on its side in a ditch (don't ask!) Will need 2 figures as above

An OT-90.
Spoilt for choice of dioramas of people who fell out of/off of mine. Will need some 1/16 Soviet troops in M88 Afghanka.

    Neil (yet another one...)

    On the board now:

    Airfix 1/35 Alvis Stalwart Mk2 FV622
    Airfix 1/72 Westland Wessex
    Mastercraft 1/72 Westland Wessex
    OKits 1/72 Mil Mi-2
    WNW Bristol F2B
    2 x Airfix Triumph TR4A

I already "pre-ordered" purchased the Das Work version so I will be interested to see how the Trumpeter kit stacks up against it. Once it comes in I think it will bump its way to near the top of the TO-DO List.

I hope that having two of them will create a strong demand for figures and stuff to fill it.
On the table or recently completed:

    75mm BMW R75 WW2 motorcycle with rider - DONE
70mm Knight on Horse - GB - DONE
1/35 Churchill Mk IV AVRE with Bridge - DONE

You for all the trending towards 1/16. Not one WW1 or 2 truck has been produced.
I'd like a AEC 644 Marshall .....even just in 1/35 would be nice.

Now I'm not casting any regional stereotypes, but the guy on the left is definitely an Aussie.
