Sonic Cleaner

All and good morning.

Well D-Day or should I say AB-Day is imminent and the chaps at Air-Craft will be getting my order for a H&S Ultra and Compressor and all the gubbins associated with it (Cleaning Kit and Booths and all manner of lovely goodies).
I'm going to invest in a Sonic Cleaner.
Any suggestions for a good, reliable unit?

Just get one from maplins or the like around £20 should get you a decent one, don't expect miracles though, it'll help clean your airbrush but you will still have to do the work yourself

Do you have Lidl or Aldi store?

They don't do as much cleaning as you think. Cleaning after every use is more important mate. Spend more on the extractor or basil brush if I was you.

Yup we have both of them stores (Not all Beer and Marmite in Burton lol).
I'm going to spend a fair bit on cleaning products (Ultimate and Foam Cleaner and various brushes,picks and reamers).
So a Sonic is not all that then...?

Don't bother with the foam cleaner, waste of money. Ultimate cleaner will shift everything acrylic wise, get some cellulose for everything else you can get 5l of cellulose of ebay for £12 delivered.

Well I did go with a £29.99 Sonic Cleaner from www.amazon.co.uk
Its quite neat and has brought up Mrs Wallopers jewellery a treat .
The evening was spent chucking bits in and watching the action.
Wow, we need more entertainment..
I was watching Coen last night on You Tube, building the Blue Thunder.
God he is so good entertainment and have become addicted to his musings and his models.
During one bit where he was having a chat, he stripped his AB down and cleaned it awaiting to do some more work. I learnt more about cleaning an AB properly in that small bit than any other vid. I'd love to know what the cleaning fluid he was using?

I have a lidl sonic cleaner and it's brilliant, just chuck in the bits add some all purpose household cleaner, dilute with a bit of water and it comes out spotless each time.

Your right of course, chucked in my G-Shock Casio which is my work watch and understandbly is grubby as hell.
Christ it shifted the muck
Now, agreed proper cleaning of AB is a must but as a once every week or couple of weeks its going to help.
