Sorry for the delay as its been done for some time on the other threads. Kit was upgraded with after-market photo etch. The wood base is custom. Painted with Vallejo, Testors MM, Tamiya, and weathered with pastels. Here I present my completed HMS Roberts WW2 Monitor in 1/350 molded by Trumpeter:

Superb finish on the Lola Ben!

And I love that Greek (I think) figure too - that's a cracking piece of work.

Thanks Neil, the Lola was a really fun build. The Greek Hoplite figure is all resin with the exception of the spear shaft which was beyond repair so I used a brass rod. Tamiya, Testors, and Vallejo paints were used on him too.

Thank you Kev.....

Up next is a 1/350 USS Arizona kit by Banner. I also purchased a wood deck, metal turned barrels, and several hundred P.E. super detail parts.

Somehow I forgot to post this here..... It started as a Revell 1/12 regular F40. I converted the front (lights, intake, NACA duct, splitter, and exit in hood) and the rear wing, along with numerous other things to make it an F40LM racer. Engine was fully detailed. The interior was converted to a race version. Seat was flocked and a PE belt added, etc. The wheels and tires are resin and from a specialty supplier. Decals were sourced from my spares and do not reflect an actual car that raced.

1/24 Monogram kit bashed a Bob Glidden Pro-Stock and a Ford F150 4x4. Everything was highly modified into a early pro-stock truck (NHRA). With working steering rack, full plumbing, scratch chassis, etc. Decals came from a period NASCAR sponsor.

1/48 Italeri RAH-66 Comanche stealth helicopter. This was an aircraft that was developed and tested right up to production but then cancelled at the last minute.

Added items include Quinta 3d Studios cockpit items modified to fit this kit; after market pilot and RSO figures as the kit did not have any. They were also highly modified to fit the cockpit confines and grasp the controls; Eduard resin and PE Hellfire Missiles, scratch built entire cockpit including fire extinguisher and first aide kit; scratch built many items in ammo storage bays; scratch built items on weapons pylons and the control boxes for the Stinger missiles; highly modified mask set for Su-25 digital camouflage change and applied to the Comanche; purchased stand that was modified to fit the model and the plate description is a modified lapel pin glued to the base to identify the aircraft. The decals are made by Caracal for the AH-65 Apache but modified for this Comanche.

A mixture of model Master, Vallejo, and Tamiya paints were used along with markers and pastel washes.
