Yet another Tamiya 1/35th Sd.Kfz 251/1 Hanomag

Post by FokkerDXXI »

Well, let me show you some pictures of my finished Hanomag. You do see this kit alot just like the Panzer II, but you don't see it with a winter camo very often. The diorama and the accesories ont he Halftrack are 100% scratch-built (except for the telegraph pole). The figure on the ground is from the Tamiya 1/35 PAK 35/36 and the one on the vehicle came with the kit. the dead pig came with the Revell 1/35 BMW R12 with sidecar. Here are some pics:

I got this little telegraph pole from a Christmas village shop. I made the snow effects on the pole with Tamiya Weathering Master.

A little bit of the interior detailing added (ammo box and MP40).

If you want to see a bit more of the details, watch my video

That's it. Hope you like it,

Wow Jos! The chipping on the 251 looks awesome :D Did you use the sponge method? I can never get that to work lol.... The streaks down the hull and the snow are really good too :thumb2:

Looks like they're using some "enhanced interogation" methods on the Russian spy pig lol heh heh  Great work scratchbuilding the fire!

Yes i used the sponge technique (with Maskol). And I feel bad now for the pig! First they let it out in the cold, and then they stab it! :nena:

Great work here. Nicely weathered and looks cold. Like the figures too :)
