Hello people.... here is my War Pig M1078

a little background is necessary... for those of you that are not acquainted with this vehicle...

The kit is based on the M1078 MLTV Cargo 2 1/2 ton truck from Trumpeter #1004
The Conversion set is from Pro Art Models. it consist of 15 separately available box sets and you must pick and chose
what you will be putting on your War Pig. definitely not for the novice.... it will test your patience !

You will be left with some left overs to detail other kits....
Quality of the Resin is poor in places but the pieces are well sculpted.

I must warn you .... it is a very expensive venture... attempt at you own risks!

I don't have room for bases... all my models are parked tightly ... in glass displays cases...
but would consider... making a do it all type of base for pictures!!!

food for thoughts !

Thank you for your kind words.

Sounds like a labour Norm, but a brilliant result. So much detail to look into. Well done.

It could use some stowage maybe.
Kidding, it's an awesome build!
Perfectly executed. And there is so much to look at.

I had to stop piling it up! LOL

There is a 5 ton variant of the War Pig!..... Maybe in the future I will attempt it?
But now I need a Tamiya style build! Just to relax. Till the next battle.

Thanks for viewing and comment

Jeez Norm! I thought that I'd commented on your dirty girl here, I guess I'm slipping in my old age.
I've been following this build since you first got that massive haul of resin to build her ages ago.
Seeing her here now knowing what's under all that paint is awesome.

She's magnificent bud.
