hi guys
so here is the final reveal for my entry into the homeland group build
this build had a first time experience for me as this was the first model i made that was a subject included in the armed forces of the Netherlands
the kit is very good in my opinion but could be improved
however this is the cheapest kit for this vehicle and it is good fun to build it

anyway before i keep on blabbering

What surprises me is the leopard 2a is still so 'boxy' and so many large flat surfaces which in a way resembles the tiger tank.
Nevertheless still one of the best modern tanks to date. Good job

I think that was done because of the way the armor works
It is said that the internal part is made up of titanium tubes filled with even thougher rods
A sabot round would simply jam itself inbetween those tubes
And stay there
It would be harder to make such a armor layer at a angle
But the A4 is a pretty old design and later types like the A5 up to the current A7 are more angled
