Mid-2000' 148th FW Viper is complete! I'm pretty happy with the results. I was even able to keep the pitot tube on!....truth be told I snapped the stupid thing off 4 times even though I waited till almost the end to put it on.
Also, I again lost the HUD so the dash is a bit baron.
No worries though! All worked out great! And now the pix...

Take-aways from this build...
1 - Don't put pitot tubes on TILL THE VERY VERY END!
2 - 1/48th scale HUD components are impossible for me to work with (2 identical aircraft and I had the same problem)
3 - Badger primer is fantastic! Looking forward to trying the Ultimate version as well.
4 - Really need to thin out Future acrylic with some IP alcohol to keep it from orange peeling as well as not spray more than 2 inches away from the surface. I had the roughness issue and it caused some decals to frost (as you can see in the photos).
Had loads of fun and I'm really enjoying watching the other Viper builds as well. Some fantastic talent we have on this site!
