1/35 Russian T-62A Tank [Tamiya] - 95% done

Post by SergioSolo »

Hi everybody
This will be my very first GB, and I know I have less than two months to finish it, so fingers crossed!

Anyway, my entry will be the classic T-62A by Tamiya (obviously), with molds from 1979. I hope you join me in this journey!

As usual, I'll be making very detailed videos of the process so feel free to subscribe to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaHD8N ... mj7qq1EEyw

And here are some pictures! Not a lot of parts, so there's hope

And I've seen this in the movies, but then I realized that post was made back in August, so it's not a real proof

Really excited about this project! I still have so much to learn

Yep I'll be along for the ride. I nearly bought this on Saturday but opted for a German half track instead.

Great! Also an excellent choice :th:

Today I want to share my first update, and it's quite detailed! The video shows the entire building process, with some thoughts about it

I think this kit has a lot of potential. Today I got some paints for it (they took 1 month to arrive but absolutely perfect timing  ) so it seems I'll be able to make more progress soon

Now some pictures of the result:

I hope you like it. Stay tuned for more updates pretty soon :cheers2:

Here's something I forgot to mention in my ultra detailed step-by-step video: All road wheels have a mold line mark in the center, so be prepared! :th:

Progress!

As you can see, I already started (and finished) the painting stage using Ultimate's amazing primer and also Vallejo's acrylics
Here's the detailed process:

Almost done! I still have to paint the commander, and maybe find a nice base
