Citroen 11 CV - Arnhem 1944

Inspiration for this project came to me when I was doing my first soft-skinned vehicle Fiat Topolino - http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 89#p253989. I admire operation Market-Garden and especially the fights in Arnhem and Oosterbeek.
So, I plan to build Citroen 11CV Traction Avant that ran into the British paratroopers on 17th September 1944 on Utrechtse Weg between Wolfheze and Arnhem. On board of the Citroen staff car was commandant of Arnhem, Generalmajor der Infanterie Friedrich Kussin.

"A few minutes later, around 1730hrs, his staff car bumped into B Company of 3rd Parachute Battalion leading the advance to Arnhem down Utrechtseweg. As the car started to turn left in the direction of Arnhem, the front men of No. 5 Platoon opened fire with stenguns and rifles, riddling the car with bullets and killing the General, his driver, gefreiter Josef Willeke, and his batman/interpreter, unteroffizier Max Köster."

I will try to build the model - Tamiya 35301 based on the real pictures.
