Nice! Jesta is justa too cool. Ahem.
Welcome to the build, and you're in good company, I think I've finished only half the builds I've entered on time

Thanks. Unfortunately it's been so cold the last few days that I haven't been able to paint anything. Hopefully the temperatures will go up soon because I'm getting pretty impatient.

The temperatures have finally warmed up and I've been able to get most everything painted, now I'm just waiting for it to dry so I can assemble everything and get started weathering.
I started by painting all of the main panels in testors rust enamel. Pictures are blurry and terrible as always
I painted the frame with tamiya gunmetal. It looks really shiny now but that will hopefully get toned down as I weather everything
All of the outer armor parts got painted in tamiya medium blue with the exception of one side of the chest, which is a mix of orange and red brown.
Once all of the parts are dry I'll assemble everything and take some higher quality pictures before I go to work weathering. So far I'm liking the look.
On a slightly unrelated note the engineering of these master grade kits will never cease to amaze me. These hands come on one sprue with every joint in every finger movable, no assembly required.

Pretty amazing, eh? I agree.
I hear ya about the temp, though I've had the odd hour or two to work it's been below freezing for a couple weeks and that doesn't encourage me to crack a window to vent the booth.
Smooth start, excited for what's next!
