It is Finished

Well, this certainly was fun. I enjoyed the process very much. I know some like to have several kits on the bench at once. However, this was the only one I had going at this time. I wanted to be able to put all my focus on this as it was my first GB. So, here it is.

The paints used were as follows: Primer, Stynlrez gloss black, AK Xtreme Metal stainless steel, flat aluminum and burnt metal.

This series rocket was from Operation "New Nickle". An internet search turned up nothing about this operation that I could find.
It's the Atlas 101D, S/N 58-7096. Launched August 22nd, 1961 at Vandenberg AFB, 576 B-3

Thank you. I really need to upgrade my airbrush though. I have a Paasche that I bought before I knew what I was doing and also an Iwatat Neo that I've had nothing but trouble with. Looking to maybe go with the Apex.

Decals were my favorite part of this kit.

They weren't as bad as they look. They were well made which helped no tearing or falling apart
