So, here is my final reveal. The build is HERE

Thank you all for your support and interest. I've really enjoyed this kit and it was all OOTB, apart from some scratchbuilds and minor upgrades and added parts from my junk/yard. So no PE or aftermarket products.
It was really fun building this model (apart from the tracks - those are really tragic!) and even more painting it.

Manufacturer is TAKOM and produced exclusively for AMMO MIG, kit AMIG8500.
I bought this one at Moson Makett show in Hungary this year.

Basic features (differences from the production Tiger II):
- 10.5 cm KwK L/68 main gun
- Range finder S.Z.F.2,
- Three-piece engine access hatch,
- New radiator system (heating),
- Infrared system (FG 1250).

Some minor changes I have done to this kit:
- new Flammenvernichter exhausts (from Panther II), as it would have IR night vision,
- new barrel cleaning rods for the longer 10,5cm barrel
- made a new rear lamp using clear plastic,
- scratched extra armour protection,
- scratched tool box in the back,
- added some welds to the range viewer and because the presence of it filled the original gun sight with putty,
- removed one fender at each side and one front and one rear fender
- removed one towing rope,
- improved the IR vision with clear parts.

Very nice result - you've really managed to capture that "rushed out of the factory" feel to this one.

Congrats to a great looking Tiger II and an interesting subject.

The naked steel-plate used for reinforcing the frontal armour is a really cool detail !: :thumb1:

Well done! :th:

Thank you very much. I appreciate it.
I was trying to imitate the factory marking for the first time.
