No deck gun ! I was under the impression German subs had deck guns. Obviously I am now corrected. I would have thought if any sub was going to be better armed it would be the ocean going concerns. I wonder why that was.

Nice build.. very nice ...

edit : After 1943 deck guns were a thing of the past once allied anti submarine activities ramped up.

below the steps I've made until now to make the marine diorama:

I made the plexiglas box:

I placed the U-Boot:

Then I filled the box with 3 thin layers (approx 1,5 cm - 0,5 ft) of epossidic resin, colored with a bit of marine blu.
Thin layer is necessary to avoid excessive heating:
