Hi guys,

As I have finally finished Tami's He219, I am going back to big scale with Tami's Mossie in the markings of captain Pickard's bird during the famous operation Jericho.

In my opinion possibly the best airplane of WW2.

As for AM, I will be using HGW seatbelts, Master guns and Eduard exterior set.

Not sure yet. I will probably do one engine "naked" and the other one with regular cowling. I'll see.

Hell that's a impressive cockpit display. The sort of thing I aspire to and generally fall short

More lovely work I just hope it can all be seen, often with aircraft you can't see PE or detailed work once the fuselage is buttoned up

Well, after 79 hours at the bench so far, the central portion of the cockpit is finished.

Left to do - the rest of the airplane...

Wow 79 hrs is massive, but I can see every minute was productive.

Me too, it's an 'imgur' issue. It's bascially pulled the plug for UK users to be able to view content as it can't be bothered jumping through any hoops put up by our fine government's online safety (OSA) measures.

Ok that's what I suspected.

Beautiful work. I was just scrolling through. I love the cockpit weathering and the texture you achieved on the seats.

Since the aftermarket PE parts for the engine pipework are flat and just look plain stupid at 32nd scale, I had to start scratch building them to add some more important details to the engines.

Not 100% accurate, but in my opinion it adds interest to the engine.

I discovered that I can make hose connectors by wrapping thin strips of masking tape around the lead wire and cover it with heavily diluted PVA glue to seal it all in place.



Not yet finished, but you get the gist of it...

Accurate or not it looks good and leaves the viewer with a good impression.

Some progress with the engine. Still some stuff and fine tuning to do, but this is basically it.

Wonderful tones on the engine detail.

Some work on the nacelle cowling structure...

Engine in place (apologies for bad photos).
Exhaust stacks yet to be painted and installed.
