Cool!

I'm actually half way through building the same kit myself, I'm just about to decal mine.
Beware of that ill fitting engine cover, famous for not sitting correctly.

Looking nice and neat. Amazing how basic and paired down the bodywork on these cars was compared to nowadays

Looking good. I’m a big f1 fan so lovely to see a f1 car. I have only ever made one f1 car and that was Jensen buttons mp4-25 I do wish there were some more Modern f1 kits.

I need your help!
After applying a coat of Gunze H30 Gloss Clear, diluted to 70% with nitro as usual (something I've been doing for years),
This happened to some parts of the bodywork.

Apart from the fact that the model is ruined, can anyone help me understand what happened? I think the process is irreversible.
The bodywork was treated evenly with Humbrol Enamel 220, also diluted to 70%.

What a bummer. It looks like the gloss went over a layer that wasn't quite dry and the drying times of the different paints caused the wrinkle. But you'd know for sure if the red was fully cured or not.
Otherwise no idea.
