hello gentlemen
here i have a review of the Marder III ausf. M initial by dragon
i thought i could do a review on it as this will be a upcoming build for me
so let's get started

Image
the pretty cool box art

Image
all parts that are on the goodie card

Image
a close up of the decals
they look good not 100% flat but darn close
the photo etch looks good aswell with a nice amount of detail

Image
the hull

Image
a sprue of gen2 infantry gear
this is mostly for the spares box as the only things you need are the gasmask cases

Image
radio parts

Image
antenna's

Image
the spare ammo

Image
tools

Image
interior parts

Image
close up of some transmission parts
looks good :th:

Image
various exterior parts from the 38t but this has the same chassis so you would need some parts from it

Image
the armor plates

Image
the details of the armor

Image
parts for the gun
as with the ammo sprue this comes from the pak40 kit dragon makes

Image
and some more exterior parts

Image
the wheels
i like that you get 2 sets of sprockets and 2 sets of idler wheels
this gives some extra detail choises

Image
and even more exterior parts
this leaves you with more spares bin goodies

Image
just wanted to show this one
these are the ammo storage tubes
and the floor for the fighting compartment
Image

now follows the instruction book
please excuse all the writing in there
i already made some notes in there
Image

Image
the sprue map and as you can see a sea of unused parts

Image
color charts
standard brands that dragon points out

Image

Image

Image

Image
and as a last page the painting and markings guide

and that concludes the review
i think this is a good kit with a lot of details
there is the normal busy instruction book but as with all kits take your time and you should be fine
i did found 1 bad thing , this bit
Image
this is beyond bend i think

but this kit is really a great addition to the stash and if you see it at a good price just go for it
cheers Mark

Very nice kit of that Marder :thumb2:
lots of extras too! What camo scheme are you going for?
I went for the Dutch with my Marder.
Happy Modelling Mark :cheers2:

I am affraid it is collecting dust for a couple of years now
Allthough my plan is to renew the thread some time soon and finish it but all the photo etch will make for slow progres

Maybe in time
At the moment i am a bit busy with moving to a new house
I still have a couple of build pics from a couple of years ago and a buildthread over here but i lost most of the pics
Maybe i will start a new thread when everything calms down a bit
