Aur0ra145's Tamiya 1/35 Flakpanzer Gepard

Post by aur0ra145 »

Another kit in the books! Total build time: 7 days.

Great little kit especially for it being tooled in 1977! Overall I would build this kit again given the chance. Things I would do differently is painting the rubber on the road wheels and PE gun barrels/smoke launchers. It'd also be cool to figure out how to make the search radar spin.

The memorial poster that Tamiya had on their table this year at IPMS Nationals. Not my photo; but, I did see it when I was there last year. Lots of incredibly kind things were written on it.

Made an effort to use as much Tamiya stuff as possible on this build. Seemed to have worked out well.
