1/48 Hasegawa Aichi B7A2 Grace

Post by wally »

Hello All

Finally I finished my entry to the Rising Sun GB. This is torpedo bomber Aichi B7A2 from Hasegawa in 1/48 scale. Hole model was painted using Tamiya acrylic paints XF-11, XF-12 and XF-70. Weathering was done using enamel was from Ammo Mig dedicated to the Japanese Navy Aircraft's and Tamiya weathering sets. The kit itself goes together without any problems, the only problems I have with this kit were decals. They don't want to conform to the panel lines and after applying micro Sol they wrinkles and stay in this form even they dried. Lesson for the future use masks instead of decals.
I choose marking from 752nd Air Corps. Chipping technique was done using first Tamiya AS-12 silver paint then chipping medium from Valejo.
I chipped the paint using warm water and stiff brush and occasionally point of the tweezers. I think that's it Hope I will like it. :th:
Thanks for watching and all the comments.
