Obligatory box and sprue shots then got a bit carried away and had built it a bit quick although this is where the real fun begins!

Always nice to see a saw on the bench. Scotch Harrier, does this mean the middle will be a bottle of Laphroaig?

Since this is a kids oriented GB, and a youth friendly forum, Irn Bru would be a better choice anyway.

Scotland's national soft drink. It tastes like rust and orange cream soda. It's made out of iron girders. Lovely stuff. The English hate it, it burns their skin on contact.

Always thought Irn Bru was from Newcastle.

Edit: I'm thinking of Newky Brown. Similar stuff.

So after sawing my poor little harrier in half i set to it with some sheet styrene, cut roughly to shape and then glued in place, trimmed and sanded then any gaps due to iffy sawmanship filled in, the white and yolk are just circles of the same styrene sheet cut to size and painted accordingly, next up after gloss is breadcrumbs!

When the worlds of cookery and modelling collide with probably predictably disastrous and inedible results!

Operation bread crumb is a success! Operation make a plate from sheet styrene didnt go so well but without spending a lot more time and using up a lot more styrene i doubt i will manage better. I cut out and glued two circles together the same size as a saucer and then placed it in a saucepan of hot water between two saucers till the water had cooled.

Gonna scratch up some sauce or waffles? Just, whatever you do, don't bring up sausages. They're a hot-button topic here these days...

...unless...sausage rockets?
