Panther V

Post by Les0012 »

Now I ain't no armour builder in fact I last built a tank just about the time that centurion was a rank and not a tank and the APWT was done with a bow and arrow.

Anyway I have for my next project chosen the Tamiya PANTHER Panzer Kampfwagen V (sd.kfz171) Ausfuhrung 9 A. (That's a mouthful).

Here's the box

There are four sprues and they all come in the same bag.

The tracks are a silver/grey plastic.

The hull and chassis

The destructions say Tamiya 1975 but the date on the chassis shows 1969 so a substantially old kit.

The destructions are the black and white one sheet as is the Tamiya norm.

Only going put a couple of the destruction pics up to save room.

The small decal sheet

I am useless at painting figures so I may or more likely won't have them in.

Any hints and tips on how to do this will be gratefully accepted.

Thanks Les
