D9R Armored Bulldozer ,Meng 1:35

Post by MarkVerploeg »

hi guys
so after about 6 months this build is completed
i will take it to a modellingshow to see if i like to enter those shows more often
but for now here is the reveal of this build

and that is all folks
like i mentioned in the build thread this was a blast to build and i recommend this kit to all modellers
the kit is that well made that you don't have to be a very experianced modeller
and the instructions are clear and well drawn so a phd in engineering that you need with dragon is not needed
so i hope you like it and untill next time
cheers Mark

Jeeez... Did you and Frans start a little contest amongst the two of you to find out who could make our jaws drop the furthest...?

This is amazing work. Quite an unusual subject to. You certainly should take this to a modelling show. If that won't attract some attention on a modelling event, then I don't know what does. Well done.

I'm a newbie at modelling and already want to buy most models from Meng, their website is amazing! In fact I already have one, but it have to wait till I have some model building experience :D

Off to check the build thread.

They don't require lot of know how and skill to build
I think that if you want to build it you should
And if you think that you can do a better job in a few years just get a new kit

Thank you Coen
I didn't thibk it would be very good as i almost never do single colored vehicles and they require a bit more work when it comes to weathering
Besides this is my heaviest chipping job so far
trekfanj wrote:Looks great, Mark! :th:

Get one ,i'm sure you will like it
This kit is very well made even the tracks where easy and fast to make
They took me 90 minutes in total to clean and build for the two of them

And if mr. Burns likes it
I'm sure you will get to see it Sunday
Or something terrible has happened but i don't think that will happen

Thanks Russ
I am pretty happy with it myself
And not to sound smug but i think it is one of my best models to date
But then again i have learned a lot about weathering and building the last year thanks to youtube vids and ISM
You can learn a lot by looking at other peoples work
