Revell 1:76 Sherman Firefly

Post by Deacon »

Of course this is the Matchbox kit reboxed.

The rubber tracks for this one were a real pain as the paint just kept flaking off.

One of the rear idler wheels bent as I was putting the track on so I had to pin it, so out of the recent 1:76 armour builds this was the worst (although the fit of the Grant was bad).

So here she is, 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards, Normandy, June, 1944. Excuse the base, it's a work in progress.

Looks cool despite being an old Matchbox kit! If you ask me the base looks pretty cool!

Sweet looking Firefly. Love those old Matchbox kits...now under the Revell label.
I like the addition of the twig to represent a tree....cool.
Bill.
