High praise from Mr C.!Coen wrote:Holy crap Scott!!
That's fantastic detail for 1/72. Well far better than anything I can do at that scale.
Damn that's nice.
Looks like you brush painted the white as well.Twokidsnosleep wrote:I am fighting the urge to dip R2 in the oven cleaner

Thanks Will, always good to hear from youWillem wrote:Amazing detail painting, Scott. Loving your build thread.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking at. There are many new colours Vallejo is making for the world of gamers....brighter coloursCoen wrote:Vallejo model colour and life colour are really good brush paints.
But if you're going to be going into figure painting in a more serious way then maybe some of the scale 75 range is more what you want to look at.
Tamiya is meant to be sprayed. It's alcohol based (says so on the label as well as thier site) so it dries uber fast. Not really the best for brush painting.
You can retard it with lacquer thinners or or products, but myself, I prefer a paint that will do more than one thing and I don't have to "fix" it.
I buy almost all of my paint from Luckymodel (http://www.luckymodel.com( or Greathobbies (http://www.greathobbies.com/)Twokidsnosleep wrote: Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking at. There are many new colours Vallejo is making for the world of gamers....brighter colours
I was thinking Model Air for spray and Model Colour/Game Colour for brush
Where the heck do you buy this stuff though????

My progress is so slow it is not even funny....like my feet are in the swamp!!Hillbilly wrote:Great progress,I like where this build is headed!
