Meng B-17G egg 'Jessica Rabbit'

Post by Twokidsnosleep »

Rabbit Bomber Command is determined to implement a new Easter Egg delivery system.
Due to worldwide explosive population growth and 24hr surveillance technology, paws on ground delivery has been determined to be too dangerous.
Equipment has been delivered and practice is to commence forthwith and continue until desired accuracy is achieved
EB 1 "Jessica Rabbit" has been approaching acceptable delivery targets

Wait for it

The BMF on the plane was easier than the bombs and the diorama for some reason :

I feel like a dope for not putting the Jessica and bunny thing together

I love this, the choco bombs, the foil, and I somehow missed that you'd rough up the red a little to give it some weathering (which also looks right for this eggie).

Shell of a build, man!

OOOOooo this is a great day.
I get to get the gif master at his own game...and with a classic Seinfeld no less

You are spot on with the accessment
The BMF took the felt pen well, colour stayed translucent and could be worn off easily to give a worn look
The only paint on the model is actually on the dio base, everything else is felt pen Sharpie.
Nope, I did an oil wash on the wings for the exhaust lines. :shifty:

The Jessica thing worked OK, but the inkjet printer and Testors paper did not perform well.....barely got a faded Jessica on there and the rub on black letters were and absolute B to get in place. I would not rely on this for prominent decals
I had a lot of fun with this kit, doing some weird things and used as little paint as possible just for fun.
I also ate all the chocolate eggs for their shiny wrappers and used only gross yellow jelly beans for the bombs...other colours were eaten :D

HA! Ya got me...

I should do another egg and just muck about with stuff I'm normally too afraid to try, it seems helpful. And if I can somehow work chocolate into the build...
