Post by BobM »

Well, here is my version of Hasegawa's P-51 Mustang Eggplane in Major Robert Moore's Stinger VII markings. You can find the build thread here.

Oh man I heart this one. I like all the egg plane builds, what I like most is each person's spin on them, and the base plus the regular kit looks perfect. I'm finding myself staring at the two in awe of your paint on the eggie. And the pilot is just perfect. :thumb2:

Thanks all for the kind words! It was a fun build with some good opportunity for practice. I'm starting to get the hang of this hobby (emphasis on "starting"). There are a lot of great examples and guidance on this site, including the other entries in this SIG. This site makes the hobby much more approachable.

Congrats to all that have completed and those that will complete their builds. :th:

Thanks Scott. :cheers2:

The pilot's expression was pure luck. The funny thing is that after I had installed the canopy, finished painting and was applying decals, I found two sets of eyes on the decal sheet! What's worse is I had seen them when I first unboxed but completely forgot about them! :ooops:

Oh well, it was a fun SIG!
