ABYN (Anything But Your Normal)GB????

Not sure if this has been done, but what about an anything but your normal build? Example would be, I personally build almost always fixed wing modern planes. So for the build, I would need to do a car or a ship or a figure. Something far removed from an F15E.

What thinkest you all???

My build line up is well into the fall already though so I am pretty swamped

What if you build 4 wheel vehicles, aircraft, military ground equipment, and figures? ....

Wait, I got it, I will do something SCI-FI....

I am close to finishing up the 1/24 Airfix Harrier. The canopy is sealed, clear coated the bird, and applied the decals. Now seal the decals and clay wash, then seal it, and finally finish the small assembly. Then I can get serious on a sci-fi kit......

Neil is giving me the Bandai X Wing build wants by flashing his kit out in public
and finally a WWI airplane for Sept-Dec GB that I want to do a right proper Wing Nut Wings kit for.

LOL I tried the whole planning stuff out thing. Didnt work. Someone dragged me into some bomber thing and kits didnt cooperate etc etc. I wont be making the mistake of long term planning again by golly! LOL

Love the concept but since I tend to rotate what I build I think the only thing I've got in the stash that would qualify is a battleship and that scares the bejeebers out of me every time I lift the lid and quickly put it back!

Well, my idea of building something about space or sci-fi has hit a wall. I stole a kit from my wife of the Apollo moon landing only to see that half of it is missing and she does not know where its at

I'm looking for something like that to purchase and join the ABYN GB. I am in shock at the prices the Apollo lunar module models are getting. Not sure if I go there or look into something else.

I only build cars but have a Swedish Strv 103 tank with PE and alu pipe
Bought the kit about 15 years ago.... time to build it!
