Thanks for Playing!

Post by Tomcat64 »

It's a month later than I originally intended but it's now time to declare this SiG over.

Thanks to everyone that dropped in and especially to @pourquoi61 , @chief5437 , @SkyPainter303 , @BobM , @Maverick231 , @Quax & @TommyKillander for getting finished results and in some cases multiple finished results :cheers2:

Thanks also to @DBMiller , @Johno & @ElCapitan for getting builds under way - please feel free to post them in the finished section when you get chance to complete your projects.

Rather than go for full on judging I'm just going to randomly select a finisher for a 1/72 kit by way of a thank you for taking part and I'll post up the kit and the winner hopefully by this weekend.

Thanks again folks - really appreciate the support last year

Happy New Year to you all :cheers2:
Cheers, Neil

I'm ashamed to have not finished yet another build. Too much on the go at the same time! I will definitely finish it at some point :thumb2:

Hey Guys!

I really enjoyed this one; 1/72 is my favorite scale so maybe that doesn't come as a surprise :D :lol:

The nice thing with 1/72 is that you can get a decent kit for a couple bucks and complete it over a weekend if you like, or it's possible to go bonkers (like I ursually do) and buy a kit that is almost as expensive as a 1/48, saturate it with aftermarket and get yourself busy for a couple of months.... :pistols: :crazy:

Anyway, I really liked the drop-in-drop-out format; great idea , Neil! :clap:

:cheers2:

I just wanted to add my note of thanks Neil its been great, very enjoyable :clap: :clap:

Could I ask that if I'm the random chap out of the hat, that you donate it to a "Models for Heros" somewhere local?

cheers

Thanks again for all the support guys.

The random draw has taken place and here's the highly scientific process that took place.

Firstly I allocated numbers based on the order of threads posted in the "Final Reveals" section and had that independently verified by Mrs Tomcat to make sure I hadn't screwed it up.

Here's how the score card looked:

@chief5437 ---------- 1
@SkyPainter303 ----- 2
@pourquoi61 --------- 3
@Quax ----------------- 4, 7 & 8
@Maverick231 ------- 5 & 9
@BobM -----------------6
@TommyKillander -- 10

Second stage was to Google a random number generator and ask for a number between 1 and 10 which produced...

Which means that Maverick231 will be receiving this in the post very soon

Congratulations to Maverick231 - I hope you enjoy the kit, and thanks again to everyone for your support and participation :cheers2:

Wait! Wait! I'm still playing! I almost beat it to death yesterday when two of the decals I was placing folded under themselves - but I'm still playing!

Am I playing alone... :(
