Love the way the green bits off set the nice metallic finish!

Great job! :cheers2:

Cracking build. Can I ask for some advice? Do you mask the inside of the canopy? I am wondering if I need to on my Messerschmitt.

I selected this individual because it had green markings, because the rest of the aircraft is silver and red..

Yes, I masked the inside of the canopy with Tamiya masking tape.
Some kits have separate paintmasks for the inside, but this kit did not.

The patina you've achieved on the metal finish is really eye-catching - awesome!

Very nice work. I loved it from the beginning. I love the metallic finish. I wanted to try one myself as I’ve never done something like this and this thread would be a good inspiration

Thank you very very much, pikos!:

I'm very pleased to hear that you find this an inspiration - that is one of the main purposes of these SIGs and GBs; to share knowledge and inspire each other to try new things.

Good luck with your builds and I hope they turn out as you want them :)

Looks great! You made huge work! Maybe oil wash will be better than Paneliner (it is a bit too "strong") but result is still very nice. All the best for You! ;)

Thank you very much, I'm happy that you like it!:

Yes, oilwash is easier to clean up and might be a good alternative to Tamiya Panelliner.

Love your build threads Tommy, your attention to detail is exceptionally. For me, the test of true skill is when you've no idea of the scale and that pic next to the Mr Hobby jar shows just good this build is! :th: :th: :cheers2: :cheers2:
