All on radio!

Post by Dunhill2005 »

Whether home-built from thin wires or by heating a plastic piece over a candle there are some ways for the scale modeller to build antennas realistic.

But why build an accessory yourself if there are any to buy? How about acupuncture needles? 100 cost about 5 €. In my eyes, very cheap.

You cut off the handle of the acupuncture needle as far as the antenna base equivalent. Then you drill with a 1.1 mm drill bit a hole at the place where the antenna find their place and puts them there. (Modellbau Akademie)

Nice . . . now I don't have to chase my cat to get whiskers! Just kidding. I have no cats. However there was a recent article from FineScale Modeler about using cat whiskers for antennae. Scratch builders make good scroungers.
