MENG 1/35 Mk.A Whippet - Aug 1918

Post by Gary30 »

Amiens - August 8th 1918 This is my diorama of the Mk.A 'Whippet' tank being escorted by infantry at zero hour.

After being separated from the group, Lt. C.B. Arnold and 'The Musical Box' went on the offensive, leading to 'the greatest mechanical cavalry charge of the war' for the next 9 hours he and his tank crew single-handedly destroyed an entire infantry battalion and a transport column of the German 225 Division.

Kit is a Meng 1/35 painted mainly using Tamiya paints.
With Miniart Diorama and ICM infantry set.

Here are the final pics, thanks for looking.

Glad to get it finished in time with our daughter arriving mid way through the build, I'll show her this thread when she's old enough to understand, it's been an eventful few months!

Happy Christmas everyone :cheers2:
